How It All Started
JKJ Enterprises began in the most practical way imaginable. In 1979, when Jackie\'s aunt—a longtime bookkeeper and accountant—was preparing to retire, Jackie saw an opportunity. Instead of letting that small but loyal group of clients fade away, she stepped in to carry the torch forward.
What started as a practical decision quickly grew into something deeper. We realized that bookkeeping wasn\'t just numbers—it was helping real people keep their businesses alive. It was giving them clarity. It was taking stress off their shoulders.
In 2006, Kenny\'s own turning point came when he watched his mother and her friends struggle to understand Medicare. That frustration pushed him to get licensed as an insurance agent. By 2010, he joined the business full-time, bringing Medicare and life insurance services under the same roof.
Today, JKJ Enterprises offers a complete suite of services: bookkeeping, taxes, payroll, Medicare guidance, life insurance, and estate planning. We\'re still intentionally small—because we\'ve learned that bigger doesn\'t always mean better.
